Teams and access

Manage teams, members, invitations, roles, and alert subscriptions.

Teams separate projects, incidents, notifications, and access. Choose the active team before you change its records.

Create or update a team

Create a team from the team chooser. Open Team settings to change its name or description. Editors can make these changes.

Invite a member

  1. Open Team settings.
  2. Find Invitations.
  3. Enter the person’s email address.
  4. Select Editor or Viewer.
  5. Select Invite.

Invitations expire after seven days. The invited person must use the matching verified email address. Editors can resend or revoke an invitation.

Set a role

RoleWhat the member can do
EditorChange team settings, manage members and subscriptions, manage monitors, and manage incidents.
ViewerRead team information and operational records.

Open Members in Team settings to change a member’s role or remove the member. Only editors can make these changes.

Manage alert subscriptions

Subscriptions belong to a team member. An editor can add a subscription for a whole project or a single endpoint.

  1. Open Team settings.
  2. Find the member in Members.
  3. Select Subscriptions.
  4. Select Whole project or Single endpoint.
  5. Select the project. Select the endpoint when required.
  6. Select Add subscription.

Remove a subscription when the ownership or escalation path changes.

Leave or delete a team

You can leave a team from Team settings when your access is no longer required. Editors can delete a team after they confirm its name.

Team locks

Stazus can lock a team when it has no active editor. An operator must restore an editor before team changes can continue.
